If you have a pool of up to 90 m3, enjoying clear, healthy water is now easier than ever. With the aim of delivering a level of filtration never seen before in the residential pool sector, AstralPool’s experts have come up with NanoFiber, an efficient, healthy filtration system.

This new self-cleaning filter is equipped with a sophisticated network of nanofibers, which filters particles as small as 5 to 8 microns and prevents the system from blocking up. As a result, there is a significant improvement in the quality of water once it has been filtered.

Another example of the cutting-edge technology that comes with NanoFiber is its exclusive filtration system. A central manifold sends the water flowing through the mechanism sideways. As the water is redirected, this not only results in the even distribution of dirt but also extends the filter’s service life.

Easy to clean, efficient and a compact design

One of the device’s great advantages is that it is easy to clean. The self-cleaning system on top of the main body has a lever that is easy to automate. By turning this lever, the nanofiber filter medium also turns and ensures that the filter is properly cleaned. Moreover, once the device has been backwashed, its initial flow rate is restored.

Physico-chemical tests were conducted by an external laboratory to analyse the effectiveness of NanoFiber’s filtration system. Following comparisons with other systems in the same category, the experts who conducted the tests stated that AstralPool’s mechanism filtered more evenly and thoroughly than all other models, which prevents limescale.

Apart from that fact that NanoFiber was easy to use, clean and reliable, the laboratory also highlighted its compact design (Ø 400 mm x 650 mm) and sustainability. This system is an example of efficient water use and is compatible with other filtration and pumping systems.
