The sixth annual Aquanale, the international trade fair for saunas and pools, will be celebrated alongside FSB, the international exhibition for outdoor sports and swimming facilities, in Cologne from 27 – 30 October with the aim of boosting the global pool and wellness sector.
The new fairgrounds in this city on the Rhine provides an enhanced experience for both visitors and exhibitors. The events have joined forces and continue to work together to respond to the full range of market needs, both public and private.
The eighth edition of the IOB International Conference on Swimming Pools and Spas will also be held alongside Aquanale and FSB, bringing together 350 experts from around the world to share their expertise at this high-profile industry event. Under the theme “The diversity of water”, this edition will provide relevant information to delegates on industry trends, regulations and quality assurance programmes as well as the latest innovations in water treatment and filtering and advice for sustainable management water.
The second major event scheduled during these trade fairs is the “Healing Waters” exhibition an activity that focuses on active health organised by the European Waterpark Association (EWA). Prevention and rehabilitation are already terms that help boost activity at pools in sports and recreational facilities as a way to get and stay healthy.
Industry experts note that both European demographics and low birth rate and a significant increase in life expectancy and the consequent population aging constitute the ideal framework for promoting effective preventive strategies.
